Rublex is a prestigious brand of French origin, “a classic dating back to the 1950s”, with its own well known models: Celta, Veltic, Turvo, Ondex, Eira, Orklac and Orkla, which every fisherman knows about and carries in his basket, as they are a guarantee of success.
The former French manufacturer Rublex have been produced lures of rubber and metal since 1936. From the 1950-ties the production line was expanded with different spinner lures (with so-called butterfly-action) and Rublex became one of the leading manufacturers of spinners in France and world beside Mepps. Later some spoon lures became a part of sortiment. Characteristical features of Rublex spinners were the philigrane processing of details, replaceable hooks and some models have freely rotating body in order to prevent line twist (so-called anti-twist action). Since 1990 the production went over into lure manufacturer Lukris in Spain and since 2010 Lukris acquired from Rublex trade mark and all rights for production.Today Lukris is producing Rublex lures at the same very high standards, using German silver, all details are produced in Europe, the wires for spinners are manufactured in Sandvik factory, Sweden.
Rublex is manufactured today by a family business based in the North of Spain surrounded by beautiful rivers an lakes. In this privileged environment it has managed to find a niche in the international market with its high quality spinners.
