Seatrout

Coastal sea trout fishing is one of most demanding fishing styles, practiced in early Spring or late Autumn season, often in very challenging conditions: open water wind and waves, cold 6 – 12 degrees water, and cold air, even with minus degrees. Thus it is important to have proper wading or boat equipment, long around 3 meter rod with a lure test between 15 – 40 grams, some may prefer more sensible 10 – 30 gram. And the sea trout lures, most often are used slim profile metal spoons, which are easy to cast in windy conditions, but what is even more important, they should run shallow even at very slow retrieve. Trophy catch can wait your even at below half a meter water. Reading the sea, the water flows, the wind directions and the coast profile, that is a science, studying it from day to day brings you to highly emotional moments, when suddenly fast and powerful sea trout meets your lure and the real fight can begin!
