The Expride lure rod range exudes quality and sits directly beneath the world famous Poison Adrena in terms of technology. For sensitivity and responsive feel, there is very little to match the stunning Expride.
Originally developed as a Bass rod, you'll easily see why we are so excited about the Expride range. If you are looking for a lure rod that matches your high expectations, look no further, the Expride is faultless.
Light, medium or even large lures, with either Spinning or Baitcasting reels, the Expride range covers everything, and with a sensitivity that few rods can match.
The remarkable sensitivity you feel when using Expride is a result of two exclusive Shimano technologies. The High Modulus Full Carbon blanks are built using Hi-Power X technology. This reduces blank twist when casting and playing fish and results in a very responsive feel. There's also a Carbon Monocoque handle which transfers more information from the blank to your hand, allowing you an unprecedented insight into what is happening to your lure underwater. To further increase sensitivity and overall rod performance, Expride is fitted with Fuji SiC guides and a lightweight Shimano Ci4+ reel seat to suit either Spinning or Baitcasting reels.
And just when you thought things couldn't get better, the stunning performance is matched by a classic gloss black blank and cork front grip that is one of the most attractive combinations we have seen.
Expride - one of our best just got better.
Danny Parkins - With a total revamp in styling this year I was very much looking forward to trying my 172MH Casting which is rated to 28g, the perfect tool for my coastal fishing for Ballan Wrasse! The fast action and electric bite indication through this stunning blank didn’t disappoint! The matte styling and new monocoque rear grip firmly places this rod into the “must have” category punching well above its weight amongst JDM favourites.
